It might be helpful to also document one of the issues that Nokia ran into that had to do with incorrect syntax while pasting a multi-line string to a terraform file. I think they error message was "Error: Invalid multi-line string" and I recommended they follow this example:
tls_key=<<EOF
multi
line
string
EOF
