Nokia N-Gage SDK, Toolchain upgrade

Hello,
my name is Michael and I initiated the following project some time ago:

Basically this is a CMake integration for the Symbian S60v1.2 SDKs together with some library ports for homebrew development.

We have already made several attempts to update the toolchain, some of which were successful, but unfortunately this ultimately failed due to relocation errors. Is there any way to get in touch with you?

An upgrade of the toolchain would be very helpful, as the libSDL project has decided to stop supporting C89. We could certainly benefit greatly from your previous experience.

This was supposedly tested on ubuntu 20.04/20.10 with gcc 10.
Did you try that?
