Nuclei shows incorrect total template count when filtering by author

Current Behavior

Running nuclei -author DhiyaneshDK -tl -silent -code -dast | wc -l returns an incorrect total (1753). The engine is not reporting the right number of templates for the author.

Expected Behavior

The total templates for DhiyaneshDK should be around 1925

Steps To Reproduce

Yep, that’s just how -tl behaves at the moment. Extra types (-code, -headless, etc.) are hidden unless explicitly enabled.

$ ./bin/nuclei -silent -author DhiyaneshDK -tl | wc -l
1710
$ ./bin/nuclei -silent -author DhiyaneshDK -tl -code -dast -headless -esc -egm -file | wc -l
1916

But realistically, -tl shouldn’t need those flags at all -- it should list everything by default, just like -validate does. Acknowledged.

Tip

Try this patch #6630 - it’s much faster for filtering btw.
